About me
Krista Klabo, Ed.S. NCSP is the School Psychology and Special Education Evaluation Specialist at the Colorado Department of Education in the Exceptional Student Services Unit. She has a Masters of Science (M.S.) degree in Special Education: Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disabilities, and Developmental Cognitive Disorders and an Education Specialist degree (Ed.S.) in Child, Family, and School Psychology, and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Additionally, she is a former president for the Colorado Society of School Psychologists and the current Co-chair for the National Association of School Psychologists Assistance to States Committee. As a practitioner, Ms. Klabo worked in rural, Title 1, and suburban school districts in North Dakota and Colorado. Currently in her role at the CDE, she supports school-based mental health providers in their role especially in the areas of evaluation, and intervention. Personally, she enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with her rescue dog, hiking, spoiling her nephews, and traveling when possible.
